Vets

John Ball BVSc, MRCVS

John has spent the last 30 years in small animal practice in Surrey. He has worked with many excellent vets from all over the world, who have helped develop the practice and who have become good friends and partners. There are nine surgeries in the John Ball & Associates group in Surrey, and John is currently based at Cobham Veterinary Centre although he can also be found working at the other practices from time to time. Wherever John is, his Jack Russell Terrier, Harry, is usually not far behind!

Kamela Prevett BVM&S, MRCVS

I qualified from Edinburgh University in 1997, and after working in a large practice in Salisbury for 3 years I decided that I preferred the closer bond you develop with a patient in a smaller practice. I have worked at Cobham Vet Centre since January 2008 and have really enjoyed getting to know all my patients and their owners. At home I have a husband and two cats - ‘Brian’ was rescued from a broken home and is on a permanent diet! ‘Ronnie’ is two years old and was delivered by myself by emergency Caesarian Section. He was not breathing and had no pulse, but with Jaime’s expert nursing he made it and despite having some epileptic fits as a kitten he has turned into a fairly normal cat! However, he does have a habit of bringing some revolting things in through the cat flap – anything from a banana skin to a rubber glove!
