New Emergency Phone Number

We very much hope that you don't need to use the Out of Hours service, but just in case do remember that the emergency phone number has changed since June 2010.  It is now: 020 8783 2850. They are open at all times when your regular surgery is closed.  Please see our Home page for more details.

New Dog Illness?

We have been alarmed to hear reports of a new illness named Seasonal Canine Illness (SCI) that has been affecting dogs in various parts of the country. We have not had any confirmed cases at our practice, however Guildford is listed as one of the areas that has had case(s) reported. Many of the cases have been in the Norfolk and Nottingham areas. The symptoms are vomitting and diarrhoea, abdominal pain, lethargy and fever, and the illness has proved to be fatal in some cases. The Animal Health Trust has been investigating the disease and says that the number of cases has dropped off during the winter, however they are expecting a resurgence of cases from August to November 2011.
