Spring and summer is the time of year that rabbit owners should be ensuring that their pets' vaccinations are fully up to date. Myxomatosis vaccine only lasts for 6 months, so if your rabbit has not received a booster since last year then now is the time to ensure that s/he is up to date.

Myxomatosis is prevalent in this area, and is a disease that we do unfortulately see cases of every year. Another disease, known as VHD, is also a concern and even though it is not so frequently diagnosed we do highly recommend that you have your rabbit covered against this deadly, fast-acting disease.
